Had long hiatus updating this blog due to busy schedule. Anyway, I am back now. Loving my February products from MyGlam /Ipsy
1) Gel Eyeliner from MicaBeauty
- Never heard of the brand but this eye liner is pretty sweet. Minimum effort to get the wonderful effect for my eyes. Long lasting too.
2) Pixi Flawless & Poreless Face Primer
- Got a sample packet for this Pixi face primer last year from Target and i have to tell you, i love the product and it is easily available at Target store near you.
3) Coastal Scents Shadow Palette
- Coastal Scents was introduce to me from last year MyGlam/Ipsy bag. The product is good and really cheap. The down side about Coastal Scent is that it is only available online. Nevertheless, it is something i love to use without burning my pocket.
4) Lash Card Individually Wrapped Mascara Shields
- This is a good product if you use a lot of mascara. It helps to keep it clean and neat but i dont use it because i have really a short eyelash but it is still to have it just in case.
5) Smokey Lash Kapow Mascara from POP Beaut
-Again, i dont know much about this product but it is good to try a new type of mascara even though i am not a big fans.
Overall, I really love this month products! MyGlam/Ipsy definitely improved so much and i am having more and more confident with this company.

MyGlam/Ipsy - mirenesse Lip Bomb Glossy Lacquer Stain
Hmm.. where do I start for this one? Well first of all, I absolutely love this product. Why? because

- I love the colour - It is lip Bomb #4
- A little goes a long way
- The colour stay for a very long time
- It feels really natural once you put on. It doesnt feel as if a thick layer of stuff on your lips
- It is not too sticky.
- Duo function -It can be a lip gloss and also a lip stain
- The quality of the product is really good.
The downside about this product is that it is a little pricey for my budget. A full size of this mirenesse Lip Bomb Glossy Lacquer Stain actually cost $35. I am absolutely glad that I received a full size of this product from my MyGlam/Ipsy subscription.

MyGlam/Ipsy - Coastal Scents EyeShadow Review
I received Coastal Scents (set 2 through my subscription from MyGlam/Ipsy October bag. I have to say this product is awesome. The colours are really nice and very high pigmented. This is always a plus for me because a little will go a long way and it will last longer. On top of that, the price is really affordable which i think is really good for people like me who is on a budget.
Full size pans: 1 inch
Full size retail price: $1.99 each

MyGlam/Ipsy - be a Bomshell Eye Liner in Onyx Review
I love eye liner and I have lots of Eye Liners. I think eye liners is a must to have in our make up bag but I am not too fancy about this eye liner. I think this product is good if you are starting to learn how to use eye liner but I think this product is a little troublesome for me. I don't like the fact that it look like a marker pen and it is too big for me to hold and actually draw a smooth line. On top of that, it is not smooth and I have to draw it a few times to get the effect that I want. The plus side of this product is that it dries pretty fast and lasts long. A retail price for this is $14
This is not a product that I would invest in as I am not a big fan of a marker kind of eye liner.

Glam Bag - September 2012 + Review
The September Glam Bag arrived slightly later but still within the period of time that they promised. September 2012 bag was very awesome. I love it so much and it is one of my favourite bag.
1) London SoHo New York Smudge Brush
- Love the brush. It is so soft and such a wonderful smudge brush. After using this brush i wanted to get the whole set but unfortunately, the Walmart in my area doesnt sell this brand. The price is not expensive either. It is about $5.79. I went on and search. Apparently, CVS, Target and Walgreen also carry London SoHo New York products.
2) Carols Daughter Monoi Repairing Split End Sealer
- This product is alright for me. I don't like the smell of the product. It does help to have a repairing the split end. Definitely a product you want to use to at least look healthy when you want to look fabulous.
3) Circus by Andreas Choice - Tightrope
- I am not a nail polish fans. I tried on this colour. It is matte but i dont like the texture of it. It is every watery and you need to put on a few more layers to have a sleek look. The plus side for this nail polish is that it dries really fast then other brands like Opi or Zoya.
4) Mirabella Eyeshadow in Semiformal
- This eyeshadow color is really pretty but i think it is really pricey. A palette is $10. So i am not sure this is worth it because you can get other brands with much cheaper price.
5) Jane Sparkle Gloss
-Not too bad. No weird smell, non sticky, and the color is just beautiful. On top of that this product is cheap. About $10 for a pack of 3. So, this is something i would consider to buy and use it especially i am on a budget now.

Glossybox - May 2012
This is my May Glossybox. For the price of $21 and the product for their first month, it was an ok bag for me. It was just an ok bag because i dont expect a toothpaste in my box. On top of that, nail polish is not something i am crazy about but that's the whole idea. You subscribed to all these beauty box for the experience and trying out different things that you wouldn't think of trying.
Below are the description card
Well, i will do the review after i use those products.
Also i cancelled my subscription because of the price. I think it is too expensive and way out of my budget.

Glam Bag - March 2012 Review
Well, this is my March Glam Bag and the reviews.
1) DermStore $25 gift card.
This should not be categorized as gift card when there is a term and condition to use the card. We got to spend $50 in order to get $25 off. It sounds like a good deal but all i see this as a marketing strategy to make us spend more. Just like the NuMe $100 'so called gift card' which later found out that you can easily get the code online. If you have something to buy, then good, but at that moment, i got nothing to buy, so it was a waste for me.
2) Pur-lisse SPF 30 Essential Daily Moisturizer
Not a bad product. it does do the job moisturizing my face but its not something i will purchase again since some of the drugstore brand can do the same. I dont see any special in this product.
3) Murad Eye Lift Perfector
Not a fan of this product. Supposedly help you perfecting the skin tone and hide the flaw. It does nothing to me. On top of that, it is $35 for a full size. Definitely not worth it.
4) Pur-lisse Daily Lip Nourisher
This is another ok product. I got a full size of this product which is $16 for a tube. It does the job by nourishing the lips but for that price, i wont be getting it after i finish this because it is too expensive. Before this, i was using Eucerin Aquaphor which is less than $10 and works just fine for me.
5)Keracolor Color Enhancing Leave-In Treatment
This is one product that i didnt try and will not try. I read a lot of reviews about this product and it scare the s**t out of me. So, i choose not to take the risk. So, since i didnt try this product, i am not going to say whether it is good or bad.
6) 'C brush' and pink leather case for brushes
The brush was alright and soft. Something i can use it again and again and good especially travelling.
7) The flower bag.
Just a bag. I guess a girl can never have too much bag. There is a plastic lining inside the bag this month which i think is good because u can easily wash it or clean it.
Overall, this bag was not a good bag for me. The products was alright but it is very hard for me to justify if i want to spend a great amount of money for those brands when i can get a cheaper brand that do the same thing.

The Look Bag - March 2012 Review
March Look Bag wasnt that bad.In fact out of the 6 items i received for that month, i like at 3 of the items. As you can see, i only got 1 picture. This is because i got lazy and was busy with something else, so i dont bother to take an individual photo of the products. I was busying packing because i was moving from NY to CA. Big move for me and my husband.
1) Frownies Facial Patches
Apparently, this facial patches will help reduce wrinkles. So i tried it on my face. It said we should try to wear it to sleep. I cant go through it. It is just uncomfortable for me. Even though i am 30, i dont have wrinkles on my face. So this product doesnt do me any good. I used it for the sake of using it. Furthermore, i dont believe 1 treatment will give me any visible results.
2) Shea Terra Rose Hips Black Soap
Love love and LOVE this Black Soap. Left my skin so smooth and soft. On top of that, i feel my face is much more cleaner and i look much more radiant everytime i use. This is a MUST have product.
3) SS Soap & Body Co Lavender Soap
Nothing really special about this soap to me. For me it is just a soap with Lavender smell. So, i guess i just love the scent.
Another awesome item that i LOVE. With the stress of packing and cleaning the apartment, i am in serious need to nourish my skin/ face. GlamGlow Mud Mask came in handy for me. Had it on after i moved to CA last month. The Results : Soft, Smooth, Radiant, Clean and AWESOME skin. I think it tighten my skin too because i did felt my skin was tighten after the mask. Something i will want to buy once i get a job. $69 is a just a little high for me at the moment but i still think it is worths every penny.
5) Indie Lee Squalane Facial Oil
I seriously have no idea about this brand or even heard such thing like Facial Oil. After doing some research, found out this product suppose to promotes elasticity in the skin. Well, i did give it a try and it was alright for me. Maybe because i relatively have pretty good skin hence i dont see any different after using this product. It became sort of moisturizer for me instead. Especially at night, i would have a little of this facial oil and when i wake up the next morning, at least i dont feel my skin feeling dry. Guess, it helps in hydrating my skin.
6) Suki Intensive Nourishing Cream
First of all, i think the cream is a little too watery but this is not a bad product. I definitely like the smell of it. Again, i use this at night and it does nourish my skin because the next morning, i noticed my skin was more radiant and well hydrated. I like the product but dont think i will be buying it. It is too expensive for since currently i am not working.
Overall, this bag is quite good for me. For more information, kindly visit www.thelookstore.com

Glam Bag - May 2012 + Review
Finally received my Glam Bag. To be honest, i am not too happy with the products i received but there is nothing much i can do about it. Just hope that next month will be better.
This month's bag is with the lips/kiss theme. It is always fun to receive the bag. For me, i always believe that a girl can never be having too much bags. If i am not using it to store my stuff, i can always give it away. So, i will think of a way to utilize the bag.
The first item is this Nail Bling. Like i mentioned before in this blog, i am not a big fan of all this stick on nail blings. I still prefer the conventional way. Furthermore, i think this design is suitable for teenagers and tweens. So, i will definitely give this away to someone that can appreciate it.
The second item is this Studio Gear full size lipstick (Autumn Red). The actual color is very brownish. It was pretty hard for me to use it because i got a very fair complexion. So i am still figure out a way to make use the best i can with this lipstick. I am not sure whether this is me being paranoid but i kinda feel the lipstick smells old. Like those expire lipstick. On top of that, i dont think the color is suitable with the spring/summer season. I probably use it during autumn and Halloween or when i need a dramatic look.
The third item are this concealer and eyeliner brushes. For someone like me who jsut started the explore the beauty world, this definitely comes in handy. It is pretty soft and get the job done. The eyeliner brush that i received was not sharp enough hence it makes it difficult to use for that purpose. Instead of using it as an eyeliner brush, i use it for my lips. So, i dont think these brushes will go to waste.
And the last item for the month of May is this Philosophy "Love Sweet Love" perfume sample. In my opinion, this is not a deluxe size but i am not going sweat about it. The smell is really nice and sweet but that wont drive me to buy the product. This is because, i still prefer Fascinating by Salvatore Ferragamo.
Well, this month is just an OK bag for me. Just hope next month will be better. One can only hope for better :)

The Look Bag - May 2012
Look at what i got in my Look Bag this month? An FREAKING AWESOME May 2012 bag. I am not sure what happen to my bag but The Look Bag is kind enough to sent me the replacement bag. That's explained why i got the Revitalash Volumizing Mascara, the Rain Glam Lipstick and the Too Faced Sparkled lip gloss.
Of course it came with a card describing everything in the bag.
On top of that, they were kind enough to put in this card. I love this card as it got all the necessary information on different kind of flowers and their usage.
Well, i cannot wait to try all the products and come back with more reviews. If you want to know more about The Look Bag, please go to www.thelookstore.com

The Look Bag - February 2012 Review
I know this is way overdue but better late then never right? Well i signed up with The Look Bag early February this year. For $10 per month, i think this is definitely worth the money i paid for.
1) Lalicious Sugar Reef Body Butter
Full Size (7.3fl oz.)
Non Member - $25.00
Member - $22.50
" Paraben Free! Sugar Reef Body Butter exudes a fresh, crisp beachy clean scent that blends exotic casaba melon, ginger and white tea. This irresistible scent allows you to escape to the tropical adventure of your dreams. Enriched with Shea Butter which seals in moisture keeping your skin soft throughout the day. Scoop out with your fingers and smooth all over skin. Use as often as desired for an intense hydrating effect."
Verdict: This is a good product. Leaving my skin soft and non greasy. I use it after a good shower at nite.
2) S.S Soap Co - Gingerbread Caffeinated Soap
Non Member - $6.00
Member - $5.40
"Beautiful Gingerbread scented soap with finely ground coffee and cocoa butter for a silky lather that moisturizes and exfoliates. Caffeine is a vasodilator which works to firm and tighten skin, plus it's full of antioxidants and helps diminish redness. "
Small Non Member - $32.95
Small Member - $26.36
Large Non Member - $48.95
Large Member - $39.16
"Repair and nourishing for very dry and colored hair
Obliphica has an advanced formula for intensive treatment of very dry, colored hair.
The creamy texture of the mask penetrates hair structure and envelops it in softness.
Your hair looks shiny and healthy, and has a pleasant fragrance.
The Obliphica plant contains many vitamins (A,E,C,K), and oils (tea tree, olive, rosemary etc.), 18 amino acids, 11 trace minerals and naturally balanced omega 3,6,9 essential fatty acids that are crucial for a healthy scalp and hair.
It eliminates split ends and prevents graying, making the hair stonger.
The mask has been especially adapted for hard water users, being PH balancing.
Your hair stays soft, even after shampooing, drying and styling it!"
4) Shadow Shields
(30 shields)
Non Member - $9.99
Member - $7.99
"What it is:
A convenient way to prevent messy "raccoon eyes" from eyeshadow application.
What it does:
Eliminate under-eye fallout with this hands-free, disposable, time-saving secret weapon.
What else you need to know:
Hailed as a "best find of 2009" and red carpet must-have, this simple fix gives you the freedom to apply eye makeup with confidence."
Verdict: It is a good product to have a clean make up but 30 shields for $10 is pretty expensive for me.
5) Cailyn Eye Liner with 2 Eye Shadow
Non Member - $21.00
Member - $16.80
"Cailyn waterproof gel eyeliner offers perfectly smooth and glide lines."
7) Jus D'Amour (LOVE)
Non Member -1/8oz $44, 1/4oz $64, 1/2oz $108
Member - 1/8oz $435.20, 1/4oz $51.20, 1/2oz $86.40
"A beautiful, grown-up comfort scent - and really, is there anyone who couldn’t use an extra dose of comfort right about now? Jus d’amour opens with coco palm sweet, but not cupcake-topping sweet. This is a dark and dusky coco palm, and there is a brief moment when it meets the mysterious and green aqualeaf accord that makes us wonder if we might be headed someplace edgy. Then the most soothing, enveloping woods appear, and it is clear that the place we are headed is the coziest chair in the room, complete with a cashmere throw. We can feel the knots in our neck begin to unwind, as creamy Tahitian vanilla wraps itself around mesmerizing sandalwood. Even the lilting violets and jasmine snuggle into the tranquil blend instead of floating above it. Sophisticated and serene, with a warm, soft sweetness that takes the edge off a stressful day. "

"Cailyn waterproof gel eyeliner offers perfectly smooth and glide lines."
Verdict: This is one of the best Gel Eye liner i used so far. the brush is need and a little goes a long long long way. You can even mix the eye shadow color to give you a different color eye liner. This is something every girl needs. The website doesnt come with the eye shadow color. The price are quoted only for the eye liner.

Verdict: I like the scent but this is not something i will buy. I am pretty much use back the same old brand i use since i was 15. I am not really a adventurous person when it comes to perfume.
